Currently displaying at Sydney’s Good Food and Wine Show 2009, from 3rd to the 5th of July, The Sydney Coffee School offers a variety of Barista training courses.
The Barista Skills training courses run for three and a half hours and are a good start for individuals who have never used an espresso machine before, or wish to refresh their skills.
The Sydney Coffee School will provide hands on experience and provides participants with valuable information and confidence. The Barista skills training course covers:
- The history of coffee
- How to use a grinder and espresso machine
- How to pour an espresso
- How to effectively texturise milk
- How to prepare different types of coffee
- How to set a coffee grinder
- Maintenance, care and cleaning of espresso machines and grinders
- Advice in Barista jobs and relevant vacancies
A Barista skills certificate of attendance will be issued after completion of the training course.
