National Foods Cheese and Gourmet Foods Division is currently hosting the NSW/ACT State Final of their 'Best of the Best' Pizza Challenge at their stand at the Sydney Good Food and Wine Show 2009.
The Best of the Best Pizza Challenge is a national pizza competition which has produced four homegrown international champions.
Best of the Best is open to every independent pizza making establishment. The Best of the Best Pizza Challenge consists of two independent categories, and in order to win in either category, pizzas must demonstrate the best use of the specified ingredients (cheese, smallgoods, seafood).
A detailed entry form – including copy of current menu – must be submitted prior to closing date.
Pizzas must be 12” diameter or of another size approved by the competition Event Manager.
The Prizes State Winners receive a trophy, $1000 prize money, return economy airfare and required accommodation to compete in the National final in Sydney, September 2009.
