Mrs Fields has vowed to donate 100,000 cookies to charities, schools and other not-for-profit organisations that are holding fundraising events in the month of December.

The cookies can be sold via a gold coin donation, used as prizes on the day or even to promote the event in question.

Essentially, recipients can use the cookies however they please, as long as the profits are donated to a charitable cause.

“Maybe your school is fundraising for a library extension, your son’s footy club needs new jerseys or you need to provision your solo run to New Zealand! If so we want to hear from you,” explains Andrew Benefield, managing director, Mrs. Fields Australia.

The company is currently taking applications for donations of its cookies via its Facebook page, Mrs. Fields Australia and specially designed “Dip into the Cookie Jar” Facebook app.

In order to apply, visit either of these locations and register your name, organisation, reason for the cookie donation and the date of the fundraiser.
