All in the name of a good cause, Maggie Beer has shared one of her most treasured chicken recipes with the Australian public in a new cook book.
The recipe features alongside countless others in a new, 200 page hard-cover charity cook book with a rather interesting title, ‘After Dinner Mints for Breakfast: A Treasured Collection of Recipes to Share at Your Table.’
The brain child of first time collaborators and self publishers Helen Burge and Kirsty Willows, the cook book contains over 160 recipes.
The recipes are organised into seven occasion specific chapters, including Dinner Parties after Dark, Food on the Go and Sundays on the Verandah.
Impressively, not 10 or 20, but 100 per cent of the proceeds raised from the sale of each cook book will go to Captain Courageous Foundation, an Adelaide based charity that funds research into rare bone marrow failure diseases.
“This collection of tasty recipes has been gathered with love from people far and wide who share a burning desire to help support children in real need,” says Beer.
The new cook book is available at all good book stores.
