As Australia‚Äôs primary accredited furniture testing institution only those furniture products that meet these standards will be certified by the organisation.

The process of testing and certifying furniture products is carried out to ensure they are safe for use, long-lasting, made from high quality materials and constructed in an environmentally friendly manner.

The organisation tests both commercial and domestic furniture products, including:

  • Height adjustable swivel chairs
  • Desks
  • Workstations
  • Monitor arms
  • Storage furniture
  • Cots and bunk beds
  • Dining chairs
  • Table bases
