Foodservice Australia , the country’s only tradeshow exhibition specifically dedicated to the restaurant, catering and baking industries, will be held in Melbourne next year.
The exhibition, which was relaunched in Sydney earlier this year with a new organiser, impressive new features and new venue, attracted an audience that exhibitors said were "genuine and interested".
It will run from 2-4 June and is set to be 50 per cent larger than this years show, as countless new companies have already joined the list of exhibitors.
“We had a very good show in Sydney, but that is only a taste of what will happen in Melbourne. With the support of industry, we are now building a great show – something everyone wants,” explains Tim Collett, exhibition organiser.
He explains that moving the exhibition back to the Royal Exhibition Building was one of the first changes to be made, as it “was the original home of shows in Melbourne.”
“The Royal Exhibition Building gives us room to grow without losing the boutique feel of the show. It is walking distance to the city, has easy access for visitors, full services for exhibitors and an incredible atmosphere,” he adds.
Various popular features will be returning, including the ‘Chef of the Year’ competition, which will be sponsored by MLA, the Restaurant Theatre and the pie competition.
The exhibition will also feature a special section just for bakers and patissiers, and a range of free workshops
Tim Collett says “Companies like the fact that this event is focused and we make exhibiting easy. If you want to reach the foodservice market you should be in a foodservice show. It is simply the best way to meet buyers and generate business."
Food companies already booked include:
- Rinoldi Pasta
- Top Hat
- Robot Coupe
- W&P Reedy
Industry professionals planning to visit the exhibition should mark the dates in their diary and register online for free entry, as that way they can keep up with all the latest news and special events.
The exhibition is strictly trade only.
