Day Two was a great success at Fine Food Australia , with around 8,375 enthusiastic buyers visiting the Sydney Exhibition Centre. This brings the total number of visitors to the event to 14,558 so far.

A range of new products are on display at Fine Food Australia, represented by a record number of entries into the Best New Product Awards.  The winners are as follows:

  • Best New Product for FoodService – Lotus & Mining Fine Foods. Product – Spicy Salmon Sui Mei & The Deluxe Seafood Range
  • Best New Hospitality Equipment - Nutrifaster Food Service Equipment. Product – Desmon Modular Refrigeration System
  • Best New Retail Equipment – Wedderburn. Product – Graef Slicer range
  • Best New Bakery Product – Granvima Pty Ltd. Product – Mamma Marilena Nut Breads
Exhibition Manager, Minnie Constan is enthusiastic about the products that have been on display and the attendance figures.

“Fine Food Australia is a launchpad for new products and equipment. It’s the largest trade show in Australia for the food and hospitality industry, and its interactive element allows for the showcasing of new products and enables buyers to come and see local and international trends.”  she said.

Tomorrow will be the show’s final day. Doors will open at 10am and the event will conclude at 5pm.
