Foodpro 2011, managed by Diversified Exhibitions Australia , breaks all previous records in providing the biggest food and beverage convention in the Asia Pacific. It reinforces Foodpro’s status as the most significant show for the region’s food and beverage processing and manufacturing industries.
Foodpro 2011 featured 328 exhibitionrs, an 18% increase from 2008, as well as expanding their floor space from four walls to five walls at the Sydney Convention and Exhibtion Centre. This took up 22,000 sq metres of space altogether.
Foodpro 2011 had attracted 8,800 key industry decision makers during the four day exhibition, which broke the previous record of a 13% increase since Foodpro 2008.
Peter Petherick, Foodpro Exhibtion Manager, is confident Foodpro 2014 will be even bigger and more impressive.
“Foodpro attendees were struck by the imposing size of this year’s exhibition. Many of our visitors made comment about the scale and breadth of Foodpro, recognising that this event is a most comprehensive display of the industry’s products and services. Product demonstrations were also a highlight,” says Petherick.
“This year’s visitors have reconfirmed that the exhibition is a must-attend event, the best place for new ideas, the latest technology and solutions to generate business, as well as invaluable networking opportunities.”
Diversified Exhibitions Australia managed the Foodpro 2011 exhibition for the first time and with high regards for their organisation and quality.
For Foodpro 2014, Diversified Exhibitions Australia will continue to build on its successful alliance with AIFST while seeking to build the show’s partnerships with industry bodies and associations
