Foodpro 2011 will maintain its status as the premier food processing exhibition in the Asia Pacific as it gets underway on July 10.
Foodpro 2011 has already exceeded the expectations of organisers with a record-breaking number of exhibitors participating in this prestigious event for the food industry. Over 320 Foodpro exhibitors will fill five halls of the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour covering more than 22,000m² of display area.
The organisers also expect large numbers of attendees from the Australasian food manufacturing industry to descend upon Sydney for the much anticipated triennial iconic event.
According to Foodpro Manager, Peter Petherick, Foodpro has developed into an influential food manufacturing event in the Australasian region, and is much anticipated by the food and beverage processing industry.
He adds that Foodpro is considered by visitors as an invaluable opportunity to view the latest showcase of products from the cream of the food manufacturing business suppliers while enabling exhibitors and attendees to make face-to-face contact.
Foodpro 2011 will feature product showcases highlighting the latest food manufacturing industry trends as well as food and beverage processing machinery, services, technical products, ingredients, flavourings, additives, food safety, microbiology and testing equipment, packaging, handling, storage, transport, plant equipment, hygiene, and water and waste systems among others.
The food exhibition will cater to industries such as meat and dairy, confectionery and baking, seafood, fruit and vegetables, beverage, soft drink and juice as well as the brewing, wine and spirit industries.
Organised by Diversified Exhibitions Australia , Foodpro 2011 will be co-located with the 44th annual Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology (AIFST) Conference. Foodpro 2011 will be held from July 10 to July 13.
