As part of its St Patrick's festivities, Diageo is calling on revellers around the world to ‘Paint the Town Black' with its beer this St Patrick's Day.
This year, the alcohol supplier's will help celebrate St Patrick’s weekend with ‘Paint the Town Black’-inspired festivities, coined for the pint of GUINNESS beer you should have in your glass on St Patty's, taking place around the globe.
Fans of the GUINNESS beer can get the party started by inviting their friends to celebrate St Patrick’s weekend with them at their favourite local pub by creating their own personalised ‘Paint the Town Black’ film invitation.
A combination of cinematography, Facebook and Google Maps, the video invitation will cast fans of the beer in the starring role of a film trailer about a GUINNESS-inspired night out.
During St Patrick’s weekend itself, Diageo is also inviting fans of the beer to capture their own celebrations with the classic ‘picture of my pint’ image and upload their beer photos to an online GUINNESS photo app (www.StPatsphoto.com).
All those who upload a picture of their beer contest will stand in line to win an all-expenses paid trip to Dublin with their closest mates to celebrate The Gathering 2013, an exciting year-long celebration of Ireland and its people.
