Birch & Waite Foods P/L , has been announced the winner of the 2010 Best New Retail Product category in the Fine Foods Product Awards in Melbourne.
With a clientele list that includes Tetsuya Wakuda, Qantas and Lite ‘n’ Easy, Birch & Waite Aioli Garlic Mayonnaise took out the Best New Retail Product prize following a record number of entries. The Best New Product Awards celebrate excellence in the food industry, recognising the finest products across food retail and foodservice products and equipment produced over the past year in Australia.
The chilled Aioli Garlic Mayonnaise is one of the first products in the new Birch & Waite range which also includes a rich, creamy chilled Whole Egg Mayonnaise. Unlike other mayonnaises, the new freshly chilled range from Birch & Waite is unique as it is found in the refrigerated section, has no preservatives and is gluten free. Both the mayonnaise and aioli will last up to six months in the refrigerator.

Since the launch of the products in June this year, home chefs have been whipping up restaurant quality recipes at home and enjoying the fresh, clean flavour of the deliciously smooth and creamy aioli and mayonnaise. The products, which are stocked all over Australia in IGA and Supabarn stores in addition to good quality delis such as Harris Farms and Thomas Dux, have been a huge hit with foodies.
