Beam Global helped Myer, Australia’s leading department store celebrate its 100th birthday and the completion of a $300 million redevelopment at Bourke Street Mall in Melbourne last week.
The fully restored, heritage-listed Mural Hall was given a modern makeover for the black-tie cocktail party, which also marked the official opening of the flagship store.
Mr Melbourne Bert Newton took on the role of Master of Ceremonies for the night while Guy Sebastian delivered the star performance of the evening.
500 VIP guests including Myer Ambassadors Jennifer Hawkins, Jessica Hart, Rebecca Judd, Laura Dundovic, Lauren Phillips and Kris Smith were treated to a selection of spirits from Beam Global Australia’s portfolio.
Spirits served at the event included Maker’s Mark, The Macallan, Laphroaig and Courvoisier VSOP served over hand-chipped ice.
Russian Standard Vodka brought a classic cocktail with a modern twist into the mix with its Espresso Martini, made with Russian Standard Original and Galliano’s new authentic Italian coffee liqueur, Ristretto shaken and served with grated dark chocolate.
Guests at the 100th anniversary celebrations of Myer also included Premier Ted Baillieu, Tony Barber, Nicky Buckley, Stephen and Jo Silvagni, Paul Cronin and Lorraine Bailey as well as Billy Brownless and Shane Crowford.
