The Australian Home Heating Association Inc (AHHA) represents those involved in the manufacture, installation, maintenance and supply of solid fuel and wood home heating products.

The association caters specifically to the firewood sector of the home heating industry, and its membership base exceeds 250.

The home heating association aims to provide home heating industry professionals who are passionate about the development and self regulation of the industry with the opportunity to express these interests via their membership.

Furthermore, by bringing individuals with common interests together, the home heating association acts as a platform for the facilitation of the discussion and debate of issues relevant to the industry.

The association plays an integral role in co-ordinating the development of, and implementing, new home heating policies in accordance with the legal, technical and environmental requirements in place in each Australian state and territory.

The AHHA aims to promote the interests of home heating professionals, while at the same time it works to ensure the rights and interests of consumers are maintained.

The home heating association has developed a Code of Ethics, which all members are required to abide by.

This document addresses a range of issues, from advertising and environmental responsibilities through to professional development and fairness.

AHHA is responsible for producing a range of useful resources of relevance to the wood home heating industry in the form of DVD’s, handbooks and brochures, as well as a member’s newsletter.

The home heating industry has thrived in recent years. Subsequently, the role of AHHA's role in the industry is more important than ever.
