Try this simple test. Take a magnet and place it on a stainless steel rangehood. If the magnet sticks to the stainless steel, then it’s not 304 grade.
304 grade stainless steel is austenitic steel that is more durable and corrosion resistant than the magnetic type 430 grade stainless steel, which is commonly used on many rangehoods.
304 grade stainless steel uses higher levels of nickel and chromium than 430 grade stainless steel, resulting in a stronger and more durable steel.
Auscrown uses 304 stainless steel on all of its canopy rangehoods and Island rangehoods. Auscrown canopy rangehoods and island rangehoods have a higher resistance to rust than the lower cost 430 grade stainless steel that is common in the marketplace.
The latest Auscrown canopy rangehood boasts a rotor motors, making it superior in durability and also efficient in reducing noise levels.
In addition, Auscrown has reengineered the internal design to increase ease of maintenance. Other outstanding features include powerful air flow of 1,000 cbm/hr, LED display, energy saving LED downlights and three speed control.
All Auscrown rangehoods are certified to AS/NZ safety standards.
